Projekt Socrates

District of Senica belongs to his position in a region of Záhorie. It has borders with two states - Austria and Czech republic. Because of his location it's interesting for business activities and from the perspective of building-up a new industrial zone there. Growth of the population is closely associated with stable economic environment of the region. Nowadays is also very important commitment of education - school has to be open to all requirements of recent time.

Our school - 2. ZŠ - is situated in a district town Senica. It's successfully fulfilling difficult tasks of education of a young generation. It don't avoids also specific situations and tasks, it helps disabled kids (physically - wheel chair, amputated member and defects of human psychic - dyscauculic, dyslectic, dysgrafic). Those students are integrated into the collective of students, they have adjusted study materials, teachers respects their physical and physical abilities and they are selecting and individual approach. They have pedagogic consultant, who closely collaborates with kids' parents, pedagogic and psychological advisory service and informs teachers about newest trends in an education of integrated students.

In participation into this international project school wants to be open itself to international co-operation in a pedagogical field. Our school also would like to participate on those international projects by exchanging of experiences and to gain new informations about application of newest methods in an education process of a student. To achieve and to speed up those targets it would be necessary to use multimedia technology.

Targets (priorities)
a) Students will meet new friends, they get in a contact with a different culture and they will have a chance to practice language.
b) To utilize chances of confontation of experiances and latest methods from a pedagogical field in a international meetings, trainings and coaching seasions.
c) To accept psycho-physical abilities of a students in an educational process.
d) To co-operate with a student family and increase effectiveness of a learning process of a student.
e) To apply news in a self-study process of the student, to exchange informations on a teachers meeting related to different subjects and methodologies.
f) To follow the rules of a psycho-hygiene in an educational process and in a process of learning
g) To keep up in with didactical learning's principles
h) To get rid of the student's stress related to his evaluation (utilising of word or other adequate evaluation of the student)
i) To achieve creative approach of the pedagogue and to use new knowledges and methods with their adaptation towards students, environment's and educational method's needs.
j) In a class create friendly and open-minded atmosphere with an exception of the rights and opinions of everyone.
